Houston Aviation Medical Examiner – Services

FAA Any Class Medical Exams: $200

Class 1 Medical: For ATP(Airline) Pilots

Class 2 Medical: For Commercial Pilots

Class 3 Medical: For private/recreational pilots & students

Color Vision Testing: New FAA Requirement as of 2025 for first time applicants & those wishing to get a class 1 or 2. Additional fee of $100.

Electrocardiogram – Baseline at Age 35, Annually at age 40 and up.

Need to speak with an AME but unsure if you would pass the physical? Having difficulty navigating the complex FAA medical process? Deferred exams will now be denied by FAA. Let’s talk! Dr. Nguyen can discuss and assist with the following: Special Issuance, document processing, CACI (Conditions an AME can issue), case management services. This can involve Dr. Nguyen reviewing all your medical records/specialist input and submitting it all to the FAA.

Basic Med is an alternative way for pilots to get a medical and fly. Please bring filled out FAA Basic Med forms to your appointment. If you have any doubts or concerns if your medical will be approved – please schedule a general medical consultation prior.

General Medical Consultation/Exams: $200 for 30 minutes. This includes school/employment forms.

DOT Physicals: $200
